 There are promised benefits of the
Wisdom Course that
are listed in literature that Landmark Education has written and I can honestly say I received
each of the benefits listed. But in addition to the promised benefits I
have obtained a whole new relationship to who I am.
I would compare the
Wisdom
Course to the opening of a
rose bud. If I were to try to unfold a rose, I would likely tear the petals
and damage the rose. I really don’t have the ability to unfold a rose.
However, in the mystery of Nature, a rose bud slowly and beautifully unfolds to
reveal the true beauty and essence of the flower.
In the Wisdom Course,
the essence and beauty of who I am has slowly and gently unfolded and become
available to those around me and to me. I have discovered myself in a new
way that had not been available prior to this course. The structure of the
course, with five weekends over a span of one year, with exercises and
assignments that are done with the members of your community, allows for the
result I am pointing to.
As a result of the Wisdom Course I have altered my
relationship to my Mom. I am now able to recognize and appreciate how much
she loves me. I have been able to receive the love of my friends in a new
way. I see that there are people in my life who would walk through fire
for me.
I have gained compassion for myself when I don’t know how to be
a good Mom to my sons. I have been able to give my sons permission to make
their own choices and assume a role of supporting them, rather than trying to
tell them the choices they “should” make. This has provided me freedom
and peace of mind and given my sons a sense of power and responsibility in their
lives.
During the course I have altered my relationship to men and
come to experience the unique and special qualities men bring to any
relationship. I have learned to create possibilities that inspire me in
the moment and act as a source of power in my day to day living of life.
It is an amazing course that allows people to reconnect
with their dreams, their destiny and their ability to transform who they choose
to be in each moment that life occurs.
