A Breakthrough:
Free from righteousness and a chronic well-being issue.

Landmark Forum Graduate Prasad Kshirsagar.

I live with my parents in Thane, a town in Mumbai, and love its lakes, its cultural background and its cleanliness. I am a Software Consultant. I listen to classical music and old Hindi Movie songs. My favorite books are from Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Pramahans. I love the books for the insights they give me in leading a peaceful life.

Introduced by a colleague and friend, I did the Landmark Forum in Mumbai last February 2002. I thought it was a good learning experience, listening to people sharing at a deep level, something that normally does not usually happen in life. I also got a better understanding about relationships.

It was weeks after I did the Landmark Forum when I got “The Breakthrough”.

I remembered what was said in the Landmark Forum. All of a sudden, I realized that often I wanted to be right about myself when I was in conversation with people. I really got to see that I made myself right and the other person wrong.

Then, maybe for the first time, I was present to what this my-familiar-way-of-being did to my life and me. It had cost me my self-expression, vitality, love for people and well being.

As I gave up being right about myself, I could see a marked difference in my self-expression and the way I look at people and life. I got a breakthrough of becoming free from persistent cold, which I used to have for years. A new life opened up for me and I started seeing life positively. This is the lasting breakthrough I got out of doing the Landmark Forum.

I am a possibility of being positive and honest.

We have all people of diverse communities living together in Mumbai. The cosmopolitan crowd is what I love most of my city.

The Landmark Forum has impacted me deeply such that now I am able to accept and love all these different communities instead of keep cribbing about them. I am able to relate to people and makes it a new reality that indeed we are all ONE.
Madhu Prabhakaran.

If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for a passionate sense of what might be, for the eye, which ever young and ardent sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating as possibility! Søren Kierkegaard.
