Hello everyone!

Landmark graduate in Ahmedabad, Dr. Mukesh Bavishi.I wish to let you know about a World Record that I created along with my wife, in the field of Women's Surgery. And to share and acknowledge that this record was accomplished through the Power of Declaration, a distinction that I learned from the Landmark Forum.

My name is Mukesh Bavishi, I am a 44 years old Gynecologist-Surgeon, practicing in Ahmedabad, one of the ten major cities in India. It is located in the state of Gujarat, in the western part of India and 440 km north of Mumbai. Ahmedabad is considered the capital of progress in medical field.

Landmark graduate in Ahmedabad, Dr. Vidula Bavishi.I did Landmark Forum in 1995 along with my wife, Dr. Vidula, who is also a Gynecologist. I registered when I attended an Introduction, where I realized with wonder that this was something more than just a personality development course!

Having done the courses from Landmark Education changed my life completely. I had breakthroughs in my relationship with my father on the second day of the Landmark Forum. The graduate seminar, "The Landmark Forum in Action" brought unimaginable results in many areas in my life. I did the Advance Course, the past version of the Introduction Leaders Program, and was candidated, as I led Introductions with record of 100% registrations.

One day in February 2000, we declared that "Tomorrow, we (my wife and me) are going to create a World Record in Gynecologist-Surgery by performing 50 Stitchless Hysterectomies". This is a technique, which we invented, of removing uterus without opening the abdomen.

We did these operations to make a difference and as a contribution, all free of cost, for the poor, illiterate, rural and tribal women. For the readers outside of our region, this is a social issue important to us in India, the world's most populous democracy. It was not easy at all to find and then to organize 50 women who needed hysterectomy! It seemed impossible to do all these 50 operations in one single day
and it had never been done before.

But the next day, having declared to the world what we were up to - we went on and on - and accomplished a rare Medical Feat. Such is the Power of Declaration and such is the contribution of Landmark Technology in our lives!

Dr. Mukesh Bavishi with his family, his daughter, Rini, and his wife, Dr. Vidula.Of course we continue to do graduate seminars in Ahmedabad to our great benefits and have kept sharing our possibilities with our communities and even to strangers! My daughter, Rini, did the Landmark Forum last year when she just turned sixteen! She had always said she could not wait to do the Landmark Forum. She has done the Advance Course and is now one of the People Who Assist. We love the power and joy that her participation gives her!

The First Landmark Forum in Ahmedabad took place in August 1994 and led by Landmark Forum Leader Ferdi D'Souza.

By late 2003, there are about 2000 graduates in our area and the Landmark Forum is available three times a year. The other courses of the Landmark Curriculum for Living are also offered in Ahmedabad with several leadership trainings from the Landmark Assisting Program.

I am a graduate of this First Landmark Forum in Ahmedabad and have been participating since then. Currently I am a designated Seminar Leader.

Everyone in my family is participating in the Landmark Curriculum, as well as many from my organization's top management, who are now playing a major role transforming our organization.
I am the possibility of "People Living True To Their Vision and Making A Difference"

If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for a passionate sense of what might be, for the eye, which ever young and ardent sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating as possibility! Søren Kierkegaard.
