Landmark Forum in Hong Kong, China
 Jul 18, 19, 20, 22, 2008

Alice Kao

The Power and the Magic of Transformation for All Chinese People.

My name is Alice Kao and I took Landmark Forum in July 2001. I have since completed the Advanced Course, the Landmark Introduction to the Leaders Program, Communication: Action to Power and Communication: Performance and Power.

I am a Landmark Introduction Leader of San Jose Center, certified to lead the new Introduction to the Landmark Forum. My friends and I have had several Chinese Community Introductions to the Landmark Forum in San Jose, California. I live for the possibility that I have invented for myself and my life. The possibility of being a compassionate, inspirational leader!

I love the opportunity to make a difference with people in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and all other parts of the world, however small, or big, my part in it may be.  Whenever I’m in the dungeon of my own head, I feel very small, I despise my own rackets and I feel I can make no difference. Every time when I hear about the First Landmark Forum in Hong Kong, and then the new communities causing the Landmark Forum in Asia, I get present to what is possible all over again. Thank you!

I am an engineering manager for a major semi-conductor and automatic test equipment company.  One of the biggest breakthroughs that I got so far from the Landmark Forum is the completion with my Dad. I realized that my Dad actually loves me very much!

My Mom passed away 15 years ago. Through my participation with the courses from Landmark Education, I was able to put an issue to rest forever. It was regarding the “secret” resentment I held toward her for teasing me about wishing that I were a boy when I was little. I made it up and decided when I was young that I was not wanted because I was a girl! Out of this completion, I got that my Mom really loved me all along and it is OK for me to express my feminine side. It gives me such a freedom!

The possibility that I am for the Landmark Forum in Hong Kong is the possibility of opening up the gateway to bring the power and the magic of transformation to all Chinese people in the world.

I invite you all to participate with all of us, in this outrageous opportunity, and to take it on as your own self expression.

Take care,

Alice Kao

If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for a passionate sense of what might be, for the eye, which ever young and ardent sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating as possibility! Søren Kierkegaard.
