What’s so funny about me doing the Landmark Forum for Teens, was that I thought I hated the most of it; … till about the last three hours of the Course! At that moment a girl who had terrible things happen to her, stood up and shared that she had put all those real bad incidents behind her. Put her past in the past and moved on. She invented a possibility for herself and her life that moved and inspired her. And by sharing it, she touched every single one of us in that room. It just blew my mind, and I am like, oh my God! From that moment on I got the strength and the power that the Landmark Forum gives to people and I see how I can use it for myself too. Before the Landmark Forum, I used to mix with some crowd and got in trouble. I used to think they were so cool, they seemed to be always two steps ahead of everyone else; and with them I got to go to “the good parties”. After the Landmark Forum I got the courage and the strength it took to realize that they had led me to bad things. That maybe they were not so cool, and indeed what I thought “two steps ahead of everyone else” was indeed two steps backward ... For five years I used to smoke. I had a breakthrough when I saw for myself that there was no future for me with them and with smoking. I gave up both completely. I am pretty proud of myself having done this. The other result that I love from the Landmark Forum is my relationship with my father. I used to have these commentaries going that I could never be good enough for him. It got us all into many unpleasant situations. Now I am very close to my father and we communicate. This is very important for me. Don Tyson As a parent, I would literally do anything to ensure
a great life for my children. Having done the Landmark Forum, I was clear
that I wanted James, my son, to do it too so he could have its benefits just
as I do. Before the course James was not sure whether he wanted to continue his education after high school, which of course brought great concerns for me. After he did the Landmark Forum for Teens, he had applied to several colleges and he had been accepted at two of the colleges he chose. We would be visiting them soon. I appreciate that James has the courage to do the Landmark Forum for Teens. After all, this is not what teens usually do. He has gotten so many accolades for his work at school and got his art work exhibited at the Spirit Square at Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. I am definitely a proud father and grateful to Landmark Education for making this course available for Teens. April

Some of the promises of the Landmark Forum For Teens: Expand our ability to see our parents and teachers as partners. Be better to deal with our peer pressure.
See ourselves as someone who counts in our family and in society. See opportunities to break through self-imposed limitations, perceptions and assumptions about ourselves.
Begin to distinguish between how we present ourselves and who we really are. Become aware that we can make a difference in our own life and in the lives of others.
